Never too many tutorials

Ok friends, so I’m coming to you today with a little suggestion for you if you want to better your illustrator tools. I googled graphic designer on youtube not really knowing what would pull up. But not surprised that it first pulled tutorials on how to illustrate ANYTHING. So after watching just the first couple, I was enlightened.

I plan to continue to watch anything I can.

Here are a few things I took away from the first ones I watched.

Likes:

  1. He showed me something new. Shape builder tool,

  2. I like his attention to being precise

  3. I like his style of illustrating very clean and simple. Not too elaborate

  4. I always like seeing how people design and do their artwork there is always something to be learned. I learned that there is a shortcut button for flipping the direction of things. hurray!

The next video I loved as well,

This artist was taking a photograph and making vector. It was so cool and easy. It was a female artist that actually sped through her tutorial much faster but I learned just as much. I loved her use of the pen tool and her eye for where the shadows need to be. It was perfect. She demonstrated little things that truly cut her work time in half.

Happy watching! Happy learning
